Yes. You don’t have to gather and upload everything in one sitting. You can save your progress and return when you’re ready to continue.

Absolutely. Our themes are designed to be versatile. A forest, coastal setting, enchanted garden, classic film theme, or any of our other designs can become the backdrop for a birthday, anniversary, childhood story, memorial, family history, milestone, vacation, celebration—or something completely your own.

Yes. You’re welcome to share preferences or special requests when placing your order. When possible, we’ll incorporate them while maintaining the overall look and feel of your chosen theme. If you have something specific in mind and aren’t sure whether it’s possible, please contact us before ordering.

Not at all. You can give us as much—or as little—direction as you’d like. If certain memories belong together or you want something placed in a particular part of your story, just tell us. Otherwise, upload your memories and let us thoughtfully arrange them for you.

That’s okay. Captions can be left blank, or you can request standard wording where appropriate. You don’t need to have every word figured out before creating your project.

Videos are a wonderful way to bring your story to life, but they work best when balanced with photos and other scenes throughout your project. For the smoothest viewing experience, we recommend including a video every few scenes rather than on every scene, as too many videos can increase loading time or cause playback to lag. Short clips of about 10–15 seconds generally work best and help keep your story flowing beautifully from one moment to the next.

Yes! You can record audio using your phone or another device and upload it with your project. Your voice can read a letter, answer a question, tell the story behind a photograph, share a favorite memory, leave a personal message, or simply accompany a meaningful scene.

Music is thoughtfully selected to complement the mood, theme, and flow of your story. You’re welcome to share the style or feeling you’d like—such as sentimental, uplifting, peaceful, cinematic, or fun—and we’ll choose music that fits your project beautifully.

To comply with copyright and licensing requirements, we’re unable to use commercially licensed songs from major recording artists. We use appropriately licensed music that can be included in your finished project.

We do not use AI to alter faces, bodies, features, or the people in your photographs unless a specific request has been discussed and agreed upon with you. Occasionally, we may remove the background from a photograph so the person, pet, or subject can be more naturally incorporated into a themed scene, but the person or subject remains unchanged.

Your completed multimedia story will be delivered by email with a downloadable MP4 video and through a private-access digital link that you can watch and share. Projects may be hosted as unlisted videos, meaning they are not publicly displayed on our channel or normally searchable. Anyone you choose to share the link or QR code with will be able to view your project.

If you purchased additional keepsakes, those will be prepared and shipped once your project is complete.

When you are uploading media in Create Your Story, you can upload a picture of a letter or type it and we will create a letter for you. This is also where you can add questions and responses if you like.

You can ask any questions, then add them to the page you would like us to put them on, as well as any pictures you may want us to add. Questions and letters also look good as the only piece on a page so we can make it large and easy to read.

There is a box to write them out, and we will add them. Here are a few ideas to help you tell your story. Choose any that inspire you:

Yes. Keepsakes can be shipped directly to friends, family members, clients, teammates, or anyone else you’d like to receive one. If you’re ordering multiple items, simply provide the shipping addresses in your order notes and let us know which item should be sent to each person.

We retain completed Legacy Projects for a minimum of one year, giving you time to return and order additional keepsakes created from the same story. We also strongly recommend downloading and safely storing your own copy of your finished project.

Your completed digital Legacy Project will be delivered by email first, so you can begin enjoying it right away. Any physical keepsakes you've selected will then be prepared and shipped separately once your project is complete.

Yes. Standard shipping is included in the listed keepsake prices. Expedited shipping may be available for an additional fee. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.

Yes! If you’re ordering multiple keepsakes and would like them sent to different addresses, simply enter the additional shipping information in the Additional Shipping box on the order form. Please clearly indicate which item should be sent to each address.
