Our Stories

Hi, I’m Lori.

I’m a mom of five, a bonus mom to one more, and a grandma to two beautiful grandbabies. I’ve always been the person documenting the journey — not just the finished picture. From my classroom to family adventures and everyday moments with my children, I’ve always wanted to capture the story behind how we got there.

For many years, I’ve been an educator, from kindergarten through college. My background in writing, instructional design, and creative storytelling taught me how powerful it can be when words, images, and experiences come together to tell a story.

That’s where Legacy Project Studio began. I wanted more than photo albums for my own family. I wanted the stories behind the pictures, familiar voices, funny moments, big adventures, and ordinary days — something my children could always have to remind them how deeply they are loved.

Today, I’m building Legacy Project Studio alongside my older sister, combining our different strengths to create something meaningful for others.

And when I’m not creating, you can usually find me planning our next adventure, surrounded by Golden Retrievers, or taking far too many pictures — because apparently, I’ve been collecting stories all along.
